Artist's Description

This evening of a multi-day canoe expedition on the Neches River in southeast Texas turned into a awesome treat for us as we looked back over our shoulders to see this spectacular view. This sunset was captured a few miles south of Hwy 1013. The days had been baking us so we decided to cover some extra miles by moonlight before setting up camp. The sunset was our first reward for extending the paddle time into the late evening hours. Our second reward was the pleasant moonlight paddle into the evening.
